2024 talent management report

This year’s study explores the most pressing human capital challenges and opportunities for RIAs, including the significant drop in succession planning, NextGen readiness pressures, and evolving strategies for recruitment and retention.

Key survey findings include:

  • Only 42% of firms have written succession plans, a record low since tracking began in 2019.

  • NextGen readiness remains a concern with 1 in 3 firms admitting leadership transitions would be “bumpy” at best.

  • Retention wins with 84% of firms reporting low or no undesired attrition – the best rates in years.
